After more than two decades in corporate leadership, Dana Scharf stepped into the notarial world in 2020 with a clear mission: raise the standard, build strong partnerships, and empower notaries to thrive. She quickly built a successful career as a signing agent, working with both signing services and direct clients throughout Washington.

Recognizing a major gap in professionalism and collaboration between notaries and their real estate, escrow, and legal partners, Dana launched her own nationwide signing service—Capital Closing Solutions—in 2021, while continuing to work in the field as an independent notary. Her dual role gives her unmatched insight into both sides of the signing table—and a unique ability to coach notaries toward excellence.
